I’ve been a little late on posting this to my blog this month, but better late than never, right? With everything going on for the Thanksgiving holiday, I just haven’t been as productive as I would like to be. I’ve already got some major improvements in mind for overhauling my schedule for the coming year. But, the year isn’t over yet! With that said, I still want to give you guys a beautiful and FREE December wallpaper for your computer and iPhone to celebrate the 2017 Christmas season!

FREE December Wallpaper for your Desktop (and iPhone)

So, I have to tell you guys how in love I am……….with my new 21.5″ iMac desktop computer! My boyfriend so graciously purchased it for us on Black Friday because my old MacBook Pro from 2011 has been on its last leg for a while now. And, boy, has it been such a godsend when designing my blog graphics and printables. It was a huge struggle to design every time my laptop froze with more complex artwork. Now, it’s a stinkin’ breeze to make these desktop wallpapers for you guys! I’d say it takes me at least half the time to create a graphic from start to finish. And, not to mention, the screen size of the iMac quite literally dwarfs my little 13.5″ screen. It’s still up to me to do the work, but this iMac makes it so much easier for me to finish what I need to in a short amount of time.
Aside from my awesome new computer, I created this December wallpaper for your computer and a cute little gold, sparkly patterned tree wallpaper for your iPhone. I’m using it right now on my phone and I love how it turned out. If you like to create patterns and are currently using Canva or PicMonkey, you should try out Adobe Illustrator Free for 30 days. It makes it super duper simple to create seamless patterns, which you can use for probably hundreds of projects. I mainly use them to make these wallpapers and design elements for my printables and Pinterest graphics.
And with it being that special time of year, I knew I wanted to include some gold glitter texture. I’ve been trying to find some free gold textures, but I haven’t had a lot of luck finding any to my particular taste. I eventually stumbled across a collection of gold textures on CreativeMarket. There are 27 textures in the set. And for $8, it was really quite affordable. My favorites are the glitter ones, of course!
