A November Desktop Wallpaper for you (Freebie Alert!)
(This post contains affiliate links that I could make commission off of. All opinions are my own 😃)
I designed the November desktop wallpaper in Adobe Illustrator CC. I’m not a graphic designer by any means, but I’ve been learning how to create and design in this program over the last few months.
And, boy, has it been so much fun!!!
Of course, there was a huge learning curve at first. But, to anyone wanting to level-up their design game, I totally recommend that you try it out free for 30 days to see if it’s a good fit.
I am a newbie blogger and chose Adobe over more common, free design software like Canva or PicMonkey. I did this, simply, because I want complete freedom in creating what I imagine in this crazy head of mine. And, honestly, I just can’t get over some of the restrictions that the free design programs limit me to. But, of course, choose what best fits YOUR needs.
If you are thinking about trying out illustrator, I recommend you check out Teela Cunningham’s blog, Every-Tuesday. Teela offers free design tutorials just like her blog title says, Every-Tuesday! The best part is her tutorials are recorded and can be watched on youtube here. Teela has been an integral part in my graphic design learning [for Illustrator and Photoshop] and I owe so much to her for that. She is also an AMAZING font designer and offers courses on fonts, lettering, watercolor textures, among her other design skills. Check her site and channel out. Her tutorials will not disappoint!
